What We Do

People are being sole--right here at the Lake of the Ozarks. We work to raise awareness of this blight to our community while helping people victimized by human trafficking. Victims and other organizations are constantly contacting us with calls for help or seeking a place that can meet their specialized needs Beyond this, we educate the Lake community about human trafficking in general, and that which occurs in our area specifically.

Unless we raise sufficient funds for a sustained effort to stop human trafficking at the Lake and surrounding communities, not only will the toll of devastated lives rise, but as a community, we stand to lose our designation by USA Today as the best recreational lake in the country. This one fact alone is vital to our tourism-based economy. It could take just one high-profile incident to kill several seasons. None of us wants that to happen!

Our success is measured in the number of people we can help with the quality of services we provide. These are fueled by our dedicated board, caring volunteers and generous donors like you.

If you are a victim or survivor, please call Dr. Sally Kemp, President, at (573) 317-0254 if you need help right away. We will hold your information in the strictest confidence, and work to get you to a point of safety and hope.
